Through
leading retreats for the last 14 years, it has become clear to
us that when people give God their undivided time and attention,
He speaks to them. When they actually hear Him in the quietness
of their spirits, they begin on the journey of knowing the Father's
heart through the incarnate Son, Jesus Christ. We
know that retreats provide the setting where listening, prayer,
and reflection can occur unhindered. And by retreats, we mean
the traditional retreat where one leaves the hustle and bustle
in order to quiet down and turn his or her heart and mind toward
God. We also believe with Peter that Jesus, as no one else, has
"the words of eternal life." (John 6.68). We hold that
"man does not live by bread alone, but man lives by every
word that comes from the mouth of God." (Deuteronomy 8:3).
